Privacy contact and purpose
Contact Halifax Tree Removal at [email protected] for the website operator about access to your information, corrections, retention, deletion or a privacy complaint. Use “Privacy request” in the subject. We use enquiry details to review your request and respond; the form is not emergency dispatch.
What the forms collect
The enquiry form asks for your name, contact details, community, service, timing and description. The project form asks for the project scope, prices and dates you choose to supply, evidence type, optional source/document link, email and consent choices. The submission also includes its page URL, time spent on the page and a request identifier used to prevent duplicates.
These forms send data directly through the OnBooking forms service. Do not include payment information, identification documents, an unredacted invoice, private third-party information or a precise residential address in a project summary.
Publication and contractor contact
Submitting a project does not publish it. The optional publication checkbox gives permission to review an anonymized summary for publication. Contact details and original documents are excluded from public summaries; residential project locations are generalized. Enquiry submission does not automatically send a request to directory companies or establish a contractor relationship.
Contact us to withdraw publication permission or request a correction or deletion. Include enough information to identify your submission, without emailing unnecessary sensitive information.
Documents and retention
Only share a document link if the linked copy is already redacted and you have permission to share it. A public document link may be accessible to other people who obtain it. For private supporting documents, contact us about a suitable transfer route first.
The purpose of a record matters: an enquiry supports a response and follow-up; project evidence supports editorial review, permission and any published summary. Retention also depends on outstanding requests and applicable record-keeping requirements. Ask the privacy contact for the retention and deletion arrangements for your record. This notice does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for records held in the forms service or email.
A request to remove a public summary is different from a request to delete the original submission, correspondence or supporting document. Say which records your request covers. Copies held by a document-link host, email provider or in backups may require separate handling; removing a link from this website does not delete the linked file.
Access, correction, withdrawal and complaints
You can ask what personal information is held about your submission, request access or correction, withdraw optional publication permission, or request deletion. Where possible, write from the email used for your submission and include its approximate date and type. Do not attach identification documents or repeat sensitive project details. Proportionate identity checks may be needed before records can be disclosed or changed.
Withdrawing contact consent may prevent further help with the request. Some records may need to be retained for an unresolved request or a legal requirement; ask for the reason and affected record categories. A published summary can be corrected or removed from this website, but third-party copies and search caches may take longer to change. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada about a privacy concern.
Optional analytics and your choice
Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not prevent you from using the guides, maps, tools or forms. You can change your choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer on any page. Withdrawing permission stops future analytics collection on this site and removes its Google Analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase data already received by Google.
Analytics measures page visits and fixed events such as tool use or successful submission. Enquiry and project text, email addresses, phone numbers and document contents are not added to our custom analytics events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this website’s tag configuration. See Google’s privacy policy.
A local browser entry remembers your allow/decline choice. It contains the choice, notice version and expiry time, with no contact details. The choice is valid for 180 days and checked when you return; clearing browser storage resets it. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. Analytics cookies are configured with a maximum age of 180 days without an activity-based extension. Google’s account-level retention controls are separate from browser cookie expiry and do not cover every aggregated report.
The dedicated Analytics property was checked on October 25, 2026: event-data retention is set to 2 months; user-data retention is set to 14 months, with that user-data period reset by new activity. These controls do not set a deletion deadline for most standard aggregated reports. See Google’s retention explanation.
Service providers and external requests
OnBooking processes submitted form fields so the website operator can review them. The hosting service receives the technical requests needed to deliver the site. External OpenStreetMap tiles load only when you choose to show a map; the tile provider receives the requests needed to display it. Like other web services, these providers may receive an IP address and browser/request information.
Service providers may process information outside your province or country under their own infrastructure and applicable laws. Contact the privacy address for information about a particular submission’s processing. External company and source links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Choosing a directory link is separate from submitting a form to this guide.
